IT Engineering TL(Director Level)

Responsibilities:
1/ You build and lead an engineering team of developers/tech lead/QA
You are responsible to co-build the team strategy, organisation and project along with the team members and your key business users.
You co-create an environment of trust and collaboration with the product team
You empower and guide the team members to help them define the good priorities and make them autonomous in their responsibilities.
You facilitate and ensure the coordination and cooperation between individuals and teams (CN-FR, S&T-Business) to guarantee success and achieve all the defined results. I say I do!
You recruit, develop and reveal talents within the team to make them skillful and autonomous under the new Decathlon strategies maintaining a strong team balance.
You work concretely on “Why” and “What” with the team together, and help them discover the “How” to improve their efficiency & deliverables.
2/ You manage the activity in line with business objectives
You are responsible for defining and controlling the financial investments (human and systems) needed on your perimeter in collaboration with Business and IT leaders.
You work together with all the impacted decision makers within business and IT domains to filter the business priorities, estimate ROI and validate major milestones and technical roadmap for each product
3/ You contribute to our internal communities
You contribute to the IT Leaders community,, and join strategic decision committees (Human, Economical,...).
You contribute to the technical/engineering communities of IT, share your experience and contribute to the continuous improvement of our standards (development, architecture, security, data, etc.), and cloud engineering platform.

You have at least 3 to 5 years of work experience as a developer or tech lead (in link with supply chain and e-commerce is a plus)
You have good documentation and organization skills, attention to detail is a must
You are able to work cross-team or cross-department in an agile way or organization. Having international project cooperation experience is a plus
You are very practical and love to do things by yourself at the same time you also enjoy to accompany people and support their skills development.
You are fluent in English (French is a plus), you are able to work in an international environment
